Warranty Policy

FNP Autoparts Engine & Transmission Warranty Terms

Used Engine Warranty

This warranty applies to the engine cylinder head and block assembly. Our warranty excludes the coverage of the following components: fuel injectors, transmission, carburetor, intake and exhaust manifolds, distributor, alternator, computer control module, starter, smog and emissions components (including EGR valve, catalytic converter, and oxygen sensors), harmonic balancer, motor mounts, external oil cooler, brackets, pulleys, flywheels, flex plates, and any external sensors or switches such as temperature sensors, oil pressure sensors, knock sensors, throttle position sensors, mass airflow sensors, turbocharger, and intercooler where applicable. The above parts must be replaced or swapped from your old original engine.

Please note that labor rates are not covered under warranty.

For a warranty to be valid, the engine must be installed by a certified mechanic and must follow installation guidelines or best practices.

Warranty company is not responsible for damage caused by a broken or clogged cooling hose.

Warranty is void, if customers and/or his/her mechanic, filters, sensors, all gaskets and, or seals failure installation and head studs shall not be removed or tampered with as this could void the warranty.

For your warranty to be valid if the bundle unit used, customer the following steps before/during installation is required for 30-60-90 days Engine and Transmission Parts Warranty and other terms.

• Replace valve cover if oil gasket
• Replace oil drain plug/oil & drain plug gasket
• Replace timing cover gasket, water pump or water pump & gaskets
• Replace thermostat & oil gaskets
• Replace and oil sending units as dummy
• New engine mount or verify and inspect visual
• Install new spark plugs & wires
• Install new belts and hoses
• Install new front and rear main seal with/seals

The above-mentioned parts must be replaced or swapped from the old original engine. to validate the engine assembly and true replacement documentation must be in the form of invoice there and then being address sites will be accepted.

Warranty company requires a certified mechanic to do an oil change within (500) miles of installation before claiming warranty.

Warranty company will not pay for these steps while the basic installation is going on while the warranty Warranty is valid if:

• The engine was not properly maintained or stored in poor condition.
• The customer or his/her mechanic fails to maintain proper level of oil/fluid.
• The engine was used for racing.
• The unit has modified in any way outside the manufacturer's specifications.
• The part has been modified, customized, or altered in any way for any reason.
• Any parts, sets and adjustments in belts, hoses, filters, emission control devices, sparkplugs.
• Any failures due total of any of these items are not part of our 30-60-90 days Engine used or Transmission. We replaced all the time of installation.

Used Transmission Warranty

We guarantee that it will shift smoothly, gears and bearings to be in good working condition, and not jump out of gear.

For your warranty to be valid at the Transmission, you must complete the following steps before/during installation —

• Rebuild all seals.
• Flush and replace the radiator.
• Flush and inspect cooling lines.
• Align and torque the linkage converter into the front pump.
• Torque the converter to flywheel or flex/flex Plate.
• Installation of the torque converter by standing or operating the vehicle.
• Auto is (Provide) preview spooler cables.
• Replace sensors and/or neutral, if required by OEM.
• In the case of turbo units, make sure all vacuum lines are operating properly.
• Torque Converter Seal and all Auto Seals must be renewed. OIL LEAKS ARE ALSO NOT COVERED.

Warranty may be void if the installation (full Auto Trans Flush and) above mentioned parts were not done by the mechanic.

• The transmission was not properly installed by the mechanic or workshop.
• The transmission was used for racing.
• The unit has been modified in any way outside the manufacturer's specifications.
• The transmission was used without proper lubrication or cooling regardless of the reason.
• Replaced of seals and adjustments in belts, hoses, filters, emission control devices, sparkplugs.

General Terms & Conditions

If return or replacement are authorized by FNP Auto Parts, the part needs to be replaced in the same condition it was originally shipped to the customer.

The sale price may be adjusted at the sole discretion of FNP Autoparts based on availability, market conditions, and other factors. Returns are only authorized if replacement is not available. If the engine was disassembled or altered in any way without FNP Auto Parts written authorization, then the warranty will be one less Questions asked.

Please note that not all parts are available for return or exchange. Some parts may be subject to restocking fees. In the event of a dispute, FNP Auto Parts reserves the right to make the final decision regarding warranty claims and replacements. If replacement of an engine/transmission is Required and a replacement part is not available we require the right to give the cost of replacement part's value.

In case of any conflict between the material under the coverage of the warranty, FNP Auto Parts has the option to liquidate the said engine/transmission with another used assembly of similar level of quality.

FNP Auto Parts will not be responsible for any freight cost incurred. Replacement of car engine/transmission will be done only within the warranty.
